4) I should post the official order thread on Friday and it will be a first come first serve but I plan on making a lot of these as I feel this will be my personal favorite design.

5) I will give a two week payment window because times are tough and I want to help however I can.

6) There will be a three piece Stemless option with the same material options and ball options. Price will be the same as the stemmed version.

Size will be 1.4″ in diameter and the ruby is more fragile than the ceramic but I have had a number of requests for them so I am providing them as an option this time

Official Order Thread: Due to the number of people that said they would not be around on Friday, I am starting the order thread now. I am thinking I will have the first top done on Friday night. I will make to order so if you want one, post in. If you are not sure, don’t or you will just hurt the next guy down the line. The CAD pic is the view from the stem looking down. The red is a cage so you can see the inner “aperture” of the inner disc. There will be a space between them like the four fanged model. The aperture will be angled milled like the turbine top. Ok, lets get to it.

If you want one:

1) Post “in”, Stemmed or Stemless and INCLUDE THE MATERIAL YOU WANT for the Outer collar, Inner disc and Stem (or center for stemless). Your choices are Stainless Steel, Copper and Bronze for all three. Be sure to also include the type of ball you want (Synthetic Ruby or ceramic)

2) 1.4″ in diameter

3) Price is $175 and that includes shipping.

4) I will message you this week with paypal info and they will ship on Monday 10/12 USPS.

5) You can pay anytime between now and 10/23. I will ship on 10/12 because I trust you all but if anyone burns me I will not offer this again.

So just to give you all an update. I will finish up the first end of the inner discs tonight. Tomorrow I work with our youth group at church so I won’t be able to do anything. Thursday I will get the first end of the outer collar set-up on one machine and the second end set-up on another. Friday night I will get the stems set-up and running and hopefully have a finished top late friday night. I plan on running what I can Friday night and saturday morning. Then I have to teach a seminar around noon then come back and work on tops as long as I can hold out then start packaging for Monday’s shipment! Progress pics as I go but now you know what to expect. I might have to pull and all nighter on Friday night but that will not leave me in good shape to teach the seminar lol.

Ok all, just another surprise to keep you all interested! The outer collar will have a milled pattern on the outside but the pattern will be deep enough at times to cut into the inner disc. This means you will be able to see the inner disc at points around the outside diameter.

Well the cad drawing is made for the stem and outer collar. I thought about showing you all but it is so simplistic compared to what the end result will be I decided not to. I just use the cad drawings for dimensions mostly so there is so much detail not on it. Anyways, it is looking good and right on schedule. I do plan on trying to get a few off tomorrow night. Not sure that will happen but I am trying!

Well not to spam the group with another post but I have to share something that totally surprised me. I have gotten more compliments on the last round top I did than any other top to this point. That really shocked me. My taste is like the one I am making now. Milled out, tricked out crazy that looks cool spinning and spins smooth. The round one was just too plain for me.

Just shows me that we all have different tastes. The good news for those of you that really liked that design is I will be offering a lot more “classy” style tops in the future. I try to separate myself from the other makers which will be harder with this style of design but there is obviously a desire for this style. It will also open the door for a sub $100 one piece design in the future. Anyways, just had to share. Have a good one all!
