Welcome and thanks for being part of the group. Just some details about me and my tops.
1) I do not have a list. I make designs I want to make and sell them in the following ways:
-We will be primarily using www.billetspin.com for all of our sales. As soon as I am comfortable in a design, we will put up the countdown timer on the bottom of the main page of the website. If this timer is not accurate on your computer, look at the actual launch time/date next to the timer. The actual launch time/date will always be correct and in CST(Central Standard Time).
-We will be working on limiting the more limited material combo’s to one per person. Of course there are ways around whatever we put in place but we will do our best to give this a try.
-When we make these designs, we make a small amount of extras in case of customer service issues. These extras will be sold a few different ways much later. Sports shows, etsy, this group via scavenger hunts etc. Please DO NOT ask about acquiring these extras from me outside of that. I wont do it and it will just waste both of our time.
-We will continue to use Indiegogo a few times a year. This is a great way for us to grow BilletSPIN. This helps provide job security to our employees and families.
-We will still use the SUS website for specialty designs or combo’s. These Sign up sales will run on the www.signupsale.com website and will run for over a 24 hour period minimum so people in all time zones will be able to participate if they choose. A link to the SUS will be posted in this group.2) I NEVER repeat a design but I do occasionally modify them as a generation 2 model.
3) Tops range in price from $75 on up.
4) I let my kids on here. They are young. Please keep it clean. No vulgar language or pictures or I will delete them. Thank you for understanding.
5) No auctions allowed without prior approval from me. I am not a fan of them but I will do them occasionally for a special item or for a good cause.

13) Please do not take any BilletSPIN top apart to try to make a new material combination. I appreciate your cooperation.
DAMASCUS: I would like to explain the process we use for Damascus. Hopefully this will answer any questions you have:
1) Machine the product
2) Thoroughly clean it in acetone
3) Place product in luke warm acid
4) Leave in acid until etched to achieve desired look
5) Remove from acid and place in solution to neutralize acid
6) Place in soap bath containing a rust preventative
7) Using compressed air, dry part
The soap will leave a thin layer of Rust preventative which will ensure you receive the product with no oxidation. Maintaining the damascus from that point will be your responsibility. BilletSPIN will NOT be responsible for any oxidation after that point. Hope that helps!An important note to anyone with Damascus or any steel in your tops. Grab yourself a bottle of this EDCi solution. The kit is about $10 and you’ll use so little each time that it’ll probably last for years. Simply spray on, wipe off. Nothing more.
ALL steel, even stainless steels can and will rust or corrode given the right circumstances. Using a corrosion prohibitor like this will prevent any issues. It will also slow patina on brass, copper and bronze allowing them to look new for longer.
If you already have a little surface rust you can spray it on and scrub with a tooth brush and it will usually take it all right off.

1) I do not have a list. I have a full time job and don’t want another one so I make designs I want to make and then offer them to the group.
2) I do not currently use exotic materials and don’t plan to at this point. I use a lot of Stainless Steel, Copper, Bronze, Brass and Aluminum. Due the the machines I have at my disposal I want the machining the be showcased, not the material.
3) I NEVER repeat a design. I usually make quantities of 30-150pcs of varying material combinations and once they are sold, they are gone for good.
4) Sometimes I will offer SUS’s and others will be first come first serve. I take Paypal and ship through USPS.
